Conshohocken Community Garden has a fig tree that is shared by all. We have been fortunate to get a great yield from the tree even though the tree is only 4 years old.
Figs are such a wonderful food. Our tree allows us to have fresh-picked figs every year. Since we live in a colder-weather climate, fresh off the tree figs means a lot of work to keep a fig tree healthy during the bitter cold winter months.
